Suffolk Punch Meet and Greet
Come and spend 30 minutes meeting our beautiful Suffolk Punches, Yogi and Hattie.
This is an exclusive meet and greet for two people (Over 8's only)
Suffolk Punch Horses are one of the oldest heavy horse/draught horse breeds in the UK, and their lineage is documented as long ago as 1586.
Suffolks are always Chestnut in colour and are well suited to agricultural work due to their stocky build. Despite being typically shorter in stature than other heavy horses, Suffolks “punch above their weight” and are well suited to a long days work in the fields.
At Old Hall Farm, we are going to be starting an extensive agroforestry project and as such, would prefer to work with heavy horses to help plant and maintain our agroforestry (rather than use fossil fuels) - in conjunction with our sheep and cattle as part of our regenerative approach to food and farming.
