Please read the information below carefully before booking.
Your commitment to us
When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Old Hall Farm and yourself. By purchasing this ticket, you accept that Old Hall Farm is not liable for any injuries or accidents to visitors while on site, accidental loss or damage to personal effects howsoever caused and that you use these premises and all facilities at your own risk.
Tickets
Once you have paid, we will not increase the price of your tickets. Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice. Entry is only permissible when the Old Hall Farm Digi ticket barcode is presented, either printed out or on your smart device.
We reserve the right to take walk-ins, subject to availability and at our discretion.
Refunds
Unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds for cancellations. Tickets are only transferable at our discretion to an alternative date or time if you contact us directly, via email oldhallfm@gmail.com or phone 01508 333 110 at least 24 hours prior to your booked arrival time. We cannot guarantee that we can change the date of your visit, however we will make all reasonable efforts to do so as long as you contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit. Tickets may not be resold.
Cancellations
If Old Hall Farm has to close for whatever reason including bad weather, safety, or technical issues, your tickets will be transferred or refunded in full.
Safety
Please be aware we are a real working farm; therefore, the ground is uneven in places, especially when in the cow shed and fields, and it is likely to be muddy.
Please wear suitable footwear, no open-toed shoes, sandals or flip flops are permitted.
You MUST wash your hands thoroughly both BEFORE and AFTER the session, with soap and water in the hand-washing facilities provided. Please avoid touching your face during the sessions. No food or drink is to be consumed in the paddocks during the session, and you MUST make sure you have washed your hands thoroughly before eating and drinking afterwards.
All children under 16 years old are required to be supervised fully during their visit to Old Hall Farm by an adult over the age of 18 years.
Children under the age of 8 cannot participate in the cow experiences.
Sessions with our goats and their kids are for children over 3 years old
Under 12’s must be accompanied by a paying adult. All children under 16 must have a parent/guardian onsite, watching from the viewing area.
Please report any accidents or injury to a member of our staff immediately.
Please tie back long hair, remove loose jewellery and don’t wear anything too precious – the animals are curious.
The risk of infection from farm visits is very small, but the diseases caused can be very serious. Therefore, your hands MUST be washed BEFORE and AFTER contact with animals and always before eating, with soap and water (wipes, gels and sprays are not effective). Please avoid touching your face during the sessions
No food or drink in the paddocks, and hands must be washed before eating or drinking afterwards
As a precaution, women who are, or who may be pregnant must avoid close contact with the animals.
Animals can be unpredictable, therefore OHF cannot be held responsible for any nibbling of clothes or damage to personal belongings. All sessions are supervised by a member of our team, however, please be aware that the animals have minds of their own.
Experiences are not suitable for those allergic to dust, animal fur or bedding
Anyone who is feeling unwell or is suffering from the effects of drugs or alcohol should not participate in any of our experiences
Covid
You are advised not to visit if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of COVID.
Behaviour
Old Hall Farm is proud to be a family friendly destination that strives to encourage the growth and development of children; as such, foul language, aggressive or rude behaviour have no place in any of our facilities. We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove from the site any person who acts in a manner that the management feels to be inappropriate and/or undesirable for a family venue or if we feel our nurturing environment is being compromised.
Adult visitors are responsible for the wellbeing, supervision and behaviour of the children they visit with, at all times.
Smoking
Strictly no smoking on site.
Dogs
Dogs are allowed on site including within our restaurant and shop. Dogs are not permitted to enter the fields / enclosures with their owners. Please clear up after your dog and dispose of waste in an appropriate bin.
General
Only food purchased from the café or our onsite farm shop can be consumed on site
There are baby change and disabled toilet facilities located within the restaurant.
Important Information
Please come dressed appropriately for uneven ground and the weather of the day. We cannot take any responsibility for damage to footwear or other personal effects when visiting Old Hall Farm.
The experiences will go ahead come rain or shine so please dress appropriately and expect that you may get a bit muddy or clothing nibbled if in with our goats and their kids!
Our cow experiences are limited to just one booking per session, for our goats there may be other groups/families with you. For the welfare of our animals all sessions are limited, and tickets must be booked in advance
Some sessions may be held at the same time as other events. Due to the sessions being out in the paddocks, the general public and some OHF customer will be able to see from afar.
We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, however some time may be deducted from your experience.
